Many assume death a solemn figure, that they do their work with great sorrow and consideration of its impact, and that each death means as much to them as it does the mortals.

Turns out, they just fucking love their job.

This Pokemon is eerily similar to a Pokemon that appears in a Paranormal Magazine. Its spikes are incredibly sharp, capable of piercing even the strongest of steels.

past lives (2021):
I've decided to give the spiky yotes my alt name "metta mutts" after the buddhist term for metta (loving kindness); these designs represent the struggle of learning to love oneself and others in a harsh world, despite their spikes.

Flinch! I love how chaotic and unhinged he looks and the colors work really well together!
Jack as well! I love the different shades of blue 💙 (I also like how he has icicles on his coat's shoulders as spikes, I thought that was really clever)

Concept character art

PTSD has always been a struggle to express, I feel like designing a character makes it easier for me to express how I feel. A panther with porcupine spikes. Aggressive at times, defensive at times, dark enough to hide when afraid.
