Would explain how he is so indestructible a car would wreck if it crashed into him but still is soft enough to catch Lois. Instead of her slamming into him. Or why no one notices he is Superman. Or how he can fly faster.

Superman with a belt has never looked right. I legit don't understand how anyone can think this is a good replacement for the classic costume.
