My odd art inspo tho is the 19th century artist Louis Wain, a master of cat and athro critters and colors. I have his biography from the museum his art is in. He was schizophrenic, and loved cats!

Two quick studies I’ve done recently. The first is of John Constable’s ‘The Hay Wain’ which I did at The National Gallery yesterday. The second is of a local landscape I did today; I took some artistic license and left out the overhead cables! Both done in Procreate on my iPad.

I've a big folder of Louis Wain art. The 'human behaviour' ones can be quite strange at times, but I love them. The cats can be rather scary but he was hugely popular in his day.

LFWのシモーネ・ロシャも素敵だった。ナショナルギャラリーのジョン・コンスタブルの絵画"The Hay Wain" にインスパイアされたコレクションらしく、クラシカルな刺繍も色合いも言われてみれば油絵風。少女のようなモデルたちのポートレートが艶かしくないのが好ましい。緩く編み込まれた髪もいいなぁ。
