Here is my third redraw! I forgot to add details on the yellowish one(she is a rock) and a visor thing for the blue one but I still like them! Also, I am going to try and draw some more My Hero Academia characters soon.

Tails is a Yellow-ish orange tone, I used the Color picker in a artwork and got the color.
But also found that tails have a more orange-ish tone in lots of artwork which is also not wrong

After base coloring, I usually decide on the light first. If the light is yellowish, I make the shadow purple-ish, that way it creates nice contrast. Another way to color is to decide on the mood first, then make a color palette afterwards.
