the Collection line of G1 reissues recycled Dreamwave comic cover art, which mislead fans into believing that they were somehow connected, who would then try to predict upcoming reissues based on the art.

in reality, Takara simply reused the art as it was cheaper that way.

here's an old one mine! i used to do a double sided version, where the back had a bunch of different kinds of art on it, but i ended up switching to a single-side for cons because it's cheaper lol
