When Goku took pride as a Saiyan on namek he took pride as a Saiyan that was DIFFERENT than the rest. Meeting Broly made him see that the Saiyans weren’t all bad they were just used and corrupted and seeing Bardock save him Solidifies this idea boosting Goku’s Saiyan Pride again.
