Human Lanterns(1982) I am surprised at how dark this fantastic mix of wuxia and horror was. A killer hatches an intricate revenge plot, enjoys himself by capturing his nemesis’ love interests - torturing, raping and removing their skin to make pretty lanterns. Beautiful and mad!

This design was intriguing has I had to develop an intelligent gorilla barbarian that had the spirit animal totem subclass and wore the bones of a Dire Ape that is also his spirit totem within them. It was the fun idea and I never designed something so intricate before!

The pamarang is made from hundreds and hundreds of tiny gold beads only millimeters wide.
