as a masked KNIGHT that sweeps her away from THE KING👀(subtle much?! Lol) and the thing IS when you look at the mask he wears it’s red and gold. Those are colors (red hair, gold eyes) and it just really didn’t fit with Zen’s color schemes of white and blues.
