it’s funny because Dragon Ball used highlights effectively for a long time, mainly through Nakatsuru or even Toriyama himself

Yamamuro just used them very improperly and made each character look like a toy, combined with his typical poor linework and colour choices

A quick update to my fursona! I renamed her to Mahari and made her colours a bit darker, she's a siamese cat mixed with a king cheetah <3

Progress.... slow, slow progress. finished the linework cleanup then did all the flats/colors w/ a mouse b/c my hands hurt too bad to use the stylus & tablet anymore. But... my precious psycho, he slowly comes to life. Many fiddly bits and details yet but.. one day at a time.
