Asked my insta followers what they consider my style and I was told bright warm colors, angular shapes, and textured linework. Tried to do a piece with that in mind (left) and one doing the opposite (right)

I was experimenting with and created a textured shadow in a something that looks like a face. Like it and kinda easy, but my model is not as good as I wanted.

I'm trying to clean up more, but at the end of the day I still avoid it as much as I can. Zooming reveals that all my art is flimsily taped together with lazy paint bucket and painting over the sketch. Textured brushes let me get away with not cleaning anything.

it's kinda funny how different my sketchy/textured style stuff looks at full zoom, whereas in the smoother painty style i just get more inclined to keep squeezing in detail until either the painting or my hand screams
