I think I just adjusted the size of his blue eye a bit smaller; softened the colors so they weren't as saturated. I also took out the high highlight because that was making him look too soft. (Looked at refs, Jack actually has big eyes.)

I might have muted it like 5%? The main thing I adjusted was the paw pads and ears, but also I haven't selected pantones for any of these, so there could be other minor changes.

I'd say it's fine, though! It's like how even same colored cats and dogs have minor differences!

Been in a nasty artblock where I want to draw but can’t get it to look right so I took a new approach!

I sketched over the basic features of ’s face but then adjusted them to my liking, slapped some color on and here we are!
