Sine I'm still seeing it. They didn't trace. The artwork is made before the sprites and models and sometimes they use one of the poses in the concept art as it's 'official art' and other times they just make an all new one.

They've been doing it since Gen 3... C'mon now

Started mixing AnythingV4 models with some initial results.

Berry_Elysium is what I am using right now;

AnyMix_Anime hass Elysium core;

AnyMix_Realism has Dreamlike core.

Not sure which I will be using, but certainly I'll be switching from berry models.

I think my main issue with the older design is how it's almost never been translated into 3D well at all, the low poly PS1 models look fine, but stuff like Wrath of Cortex and ESPECIALLY N-Sane show to me that you REALLY need to take care putting this model in 3D
