darkening the hair way more + increasing the skin saturation really helps, but the hair detail gets blown out and wouldnt work with the lighting scheme i had in mind. whoops. fuck!

I always liked muted colors and a number of Japanese artists use them very well. Or maybe they just know how to give the illusion of desaturation. Pair that with some sketchy linework and paint and you have my art heart.

I actually made 2 versions of this piece. One with the colors I originally decided on for my zora and the other one is with the colors my friend draws her with. Gotta say that I think she looks a bit better with higher saturation.

HELP NEEDED! What I see while drawing vs what the jpg or png looks like. The saturation is wonky in my clip studio paint. Does anyone know how to fix this? I’ve tampered with the color profile a bit but none of the view modes match my Mac or iPhone display!!
