Honestly one thing I wish DC explored more was how Limbo is a real place in the DC Multiverse that characters go when no one remembers them.

It's why characters don't seem to ever do anything off panel because when they're off panel they literally cease to exist.

U can also make an illusion where the plain white bg fits your character, but applying blue or purple color on top of your character then setting it into multiply, making it feel like the main light source is in the back

i coloured the image normally, then made 3 copies of the colours layer. using levels, i manually separated the three layers into cyan, magenta, and yellow, and applied a screen tone filter to each. then, for all 3 layers, i set the blending mode to multiply...
