Colour tips:
Don’t use only neon colours. When using neon colours contrast it with darker colours
Don’t use too many base colours, limit yourself to at most 12 base colours. Base colours not colours for shading
Don’t use too many similar colours for hair and everything else

Picking colours:
When I’m picking colours for skin I never use human skin colours, because that ain’t my style, but if it’s yours then use human skin colours. If you are like me, use colours that stand out from the colours of the oc’s clothes.

Tree houseleeks (Aeonium) can have striking colour, but it is important to remember that good light is needed to maintain these colours. During winter, colours are often less striking, but as the days lengthen colour intensity is restored.
