First revealed in the 2018 Japan-exclusive manga "Satoshi Tajiri: The Man Who Created Pokemon," Barunda was created during Gen 1's development... but didn't make the final cut.

Lost Pokemon of the Day: Bomushikā
First revealed when Gold & Silver's 1997 demo leaked in 2018, Bomushikā was a sea lion Pokemon, and if he'd made the final cut, would have been the series' first Water/Fire type.

ETM27: Aerial Ace (TM/HM only)
"The user confounds the target with speed, then slashes. The attack lands without fail." - BW(+2)
Some of the anime/manga descriptions remind me of Meta Knight's up b in Smash 🤔
(Images: BW, Battle Revolution, #anipoke/anime, Adventures [manga])
Lost Pokemon of the Day: Pudi
First revealed when Gold & Silver's 1997 demo leaked in 2018, Pudi was originally planned as the baby stage of the Growlithe family. In Japanese, Pudi's name means "Petit Growlithe."

Until now, it has been assumed that the "avoiding eye contact" render was the rarest version of the Mario Party Koopa Troopa artwork; however, an even rarer one was discovered in a German magazine. The renders, along with descriptions, are presented sorted by rarity in the image.
Lost Pokemon of the Day: Gyopin (baby Goldeen)
Gyopin was originally created for Gen 1, but was cut due to lack of cartridge space. Gyopin returned in G&S's 1997 demo, but ended up getting cut from Gen 2 as well.

@sapphicbooknerd Hello! If you're still looking for an artist I'm happy to work from descriptions! 😋
I'm doing a page from one of the kq novels, in which Graham becomes a lizard because plot, and hilarity ensues. I'm ignoring the book's descriptions which are green 'n orange, going for something 2015!Graham inspired instead. Which gives me...too much power. Any of these?
