Darthianal Occassus, DO's alternate universe self also popped up in 2012. It's almost like 2010s marked this massive shift of mine away from Sonic characters.

Design refinements aside, he's also mostly the same. Though he was originally based on the original DO design.

Hey look who's only just shown up 8 tweets later. Marcus was designed in early 2012. Generally other than some design refinements (tail tail tail TAIL) he's mostly unchanged.

Coincidentally did you know that Touhou 13: Ten Desires came out in 2011. Weird coincidence huh🤔

Given the refined elegance of this beautifully poetic Art Nouveau-esque portrait by Karen Offutt, it is a little surprising to learn that she's a huge proponent of the 'less is more approach'.

and this is probably the most dramatic change,! The way I doodle hasn't changed much, if not just a little more refined, but when I put my whole brain into a piece I'm proud of the work I can accomplish now!
