Visually this is like beat-for-beat the end of Chapter 2 of my Sonic fanfic I've been posting but I swear I hadnt read this issue yet when I posted that 😅
I know he's freelance rn but FF at its core has always been just so Bizarre visually and it makes me sad they're not tapping into that more, like Sqaure 100% has the cash to go crazier, do more shit like this!!!!! I WANT COLOR BACK SO BAD AAOIUUGH!!!!!
I think they should've brought back Amano as the main character designer for XVI if they wanted to have a visually interesting game while still being focused a darker medieval setting. I say that because FFII is exactly like that, but the characters all look like this instead
thought this may be fun! at the very least to challenge myself to figure out how to fit complex-ish character into a simplified form that's still visually clear!

cope’s gray treefrog (hyla chrysoscelis) visually indistinct from gray treefrogs, only able to be identified by their calls!
@xav1ul I just wanted to show fey'ri weren't like tieflings. EMPHASIZE THE WINGS. SHOW GAUDY ABYSSAL JEWELRY.
Fey'ri are my favorite outsiders! Like tieflings, but a little more visually interesting, and a lot more culturally interesting.

The short hair actually really helps to distinguish her visually, from all of the other notable brunettes in the DC Universe. #SelinaKyle #Catwoman https://t.co/WbZpguj4j5
The page also has this nice and tender little moment between a proud mother and her spooky ninja gremlin daughter, which is nice, but also highlights my other beef with this run in general: it's a moment that feels redundant, both visually and in writing.
"From the research, I looked for variety. We wanted to represent all the major biomes in Kakadu...while visually making each page different."

@eponimood here, have a slightly less visually abbhorent fushia blood Kiri to cleanse your palette of the monstrosity that I’ve created
One of the wildest #photomode things I've come across – the randomiser in Manifold Garden. The colours are beautiful.
It's an excellent game by @WilliamChyr and visually is in another universe.
@ManifoldGarden
@uricksaladbar Visually I like:
Toguro from Yu Yu Hakusho
Broly from Dragon Ball Z
White Beard from One Piece
Noi from Dorohedoro
@AmberAnna391 We r an actual play channel focusing on narrative play w/ visually immersive elements! Mostly, we r roomies who run around in a sweaty artnerd fever building sets in our basement, doing our own photoshoots/video content n the like!lol Our next show premiers the 19th! ^__^!!
Okay this was actually a terrible idea.
Putting two languages on the same page (John Wick style) sounded like a good idea, but in execution with a conversation this long it's just a complete trainwreck visually.
In recent years we’ve seen either A) Lavish recreations of classic games of that era, either visually overhauled, or basically new games built on the framework. Or...
Witch Hat Atelier is very kind, visually stunning, and honestly everything I've needed lately in a comic
My brain also keeps calling it My Little Witch Hat Academia
