Just a day break after that event and already back with the pen!

Roughly greyscaled the sketch I was working on to get an idea of depth and how far apart each character is/the bg's depth!

Friend of mine told me to try it out to help visualize the bg and it certainly helped!

Basically... I just skipped the sketch phase after taking a break from it to gather materials, going from draft STRAIGHT to the lineart after a refresher course on anatomy and shading.

Greyscale is the multiply + color layer trick on Clip Studio to create that effect.

If too many shades of the same colour are present, here, the greys in convoluted/detailed areas, it becomes messy and hard to read when you scale it on a grayscale.
