I don't know about mortifying but my OC, Charlotte, is self conscious about her prosthetic legs, mainly because her parents "gave her away" due to her being born without lower limbs. Poor thing lives in denial & tries so hard to be the best 'cause shes scarred by it

it's hard to gauge, especially with body parts, but it's not a dumb idea at all! depending on the complexity & how long it takes you, a few dollars is definitely not too much!

i usually price limbs (arms, legs, tails) at about $1-2 personally, & you can always increase!
