Here is the design of the swarm for the Pepper short film I am working on. I am still wondering how I will approach animating and adding the fx to the character in the final film.

Yosuzume are yokai birds that appear in eerie swarms around travelers at night. They bring bad luck, so chant to scare them away: "Chichichi calls the bird - maybe it wants a branch - if it does, hit it with one.” art by https://t.co/qJtKtgnNNo

<Obligatory "Play Wonder Wickets!" post in response to cool space shenanigans, as if Catkus is a swarm of good game suggesting bees trying to find cool people to add to the rad cat plant hive>

that was really REALLY nice conceptually. By It just perfectly encapsulates that feeling of being swarmed with things, feeling unnatural and uncanny, and overall weirdness.

Follow up from yesterday, PB's got a substand now- [CLOUD OF UNKNOWING]

It's a lil swarm with a gradual effect; Rather than single-target, the swarm preys on everyone in an area- When they forget something, get a fact wrong, or don't know something, they get more and more ditzy!

So there's a big Butterfly migration going on in my part of the world this week!!
While it's beautiful, it also unfortunately means I have to also drive through swarms of them at 70MPH on the highway. I FEEL SO BAD.

Can you imagine the sight of flying and being surrounded by a swarm of balloons, shining in the daylight. It must look wonderous~ https://t.co/jryXH8AkOd

The Swarmkeeper's Bug Flikk offers you a chocolate on this lovely day! Many apologies if the chocolate seems small, they had to make some that would be easy for him to carry. And don't worry, he washed his little bug hands before touching them.

Not an comic presented to you by “Trying my Best!”

Sometimes my anxiety feels like this. A swarm of fuzzy and unproductive thoughts that start to cloud my view of the situation (figuratively + literally.)🌀
