Yeah the ACA series is so fantastic! Just got Power Spikes 2. And I totally understand your respect for the first one, I got really into it a while ago and ran through it a bunch of times.

There are not-- however there is a facial refinement, where her head more more blocked out than it was originally, and that she used to have two eyes of eyebrow spikes! I don't mind if she's drawn with two layers still but noticed that I like the single row a lot. ^^
