Day 10 & 11: Maki Genryusai & Urien

I worked on both of these simultaneously to save time. For Urien I redrew his 3S portrait from the ground up with heavy reference for the shading. No tracing.

@HonaCostello Cross hatching is a method of shading. Not an art medium. Also, I’m primarily a digital artist and greatly prefer it. The picture on the right was much more difficult and satisfying to complete than the picture on the left.

i like shading. i will improve more!!

Experimenting with trying to draw figures without using too many lines and just going straight into coloring/shading. I want to try and work my way up into the hour speed paint category, but know I'm not all the way there yet.

Got tired of my Discord pfp so I took this old MS Paint sketch and spruced it up with some fancy shading.

I didn't put too much effort into it, but maybe I'll recreate it later, properly. This is definitely good for now though.
