Vesp was originally going to be a more eldritch horror dommy mommy design. I thought it would gain follows easier. I’ve grown a lot since then and that direction never really reflected me. I am so much more happy where I ended up as a comfy bug.
So #GuildWars2 has a handy Character Adventure guide in game now! It's an extremely helpful tool and rewards so much EXP! The common struggle I hear from new players is a lack of direction first starting out and this is great for that! Trying it for my new Ranger/Druid!
these, for example, are an absolute mess, so i can barely tell what is going on. i do like the general direction their designs are going in, however. i think it would be much nicer if they were more simplified

@AoTshots I’d say AT and cart go to mappa, armored is pretty equal, and beast is wit (mostly for s2 which had insane beast shots). Funny thing is that both studios beast and armored designs are the same. They’re just implemented different and look different cause if the art direction.

@LordKnightBB Me knowing we have macros, easy simultaneous button presses, two directional inputs and that devs are increasingly making games with controller as the default in mind.
While working on an oot scene parser, it really struck me how good the art direction in this game is. Maybe its nostalgia but its cool to just fly through these areas.
So many memorbale moments, excellent music and personally I think the art direction and graphics hold up really well too.

@VYIDAE Nor is it gonna put anyone out of business, imho. Sure, with some prompts you can generate *somewhat* convincing material but it'll always lack the creativity and direction of an actual artist.
But tbh it's an amazing tool for inspiration n all. Left's Dall-E 2, right's my WIP.
4) Then there is the absolutely disgusting, vulgar, violent & just plain wrongness of the Harley Quinn animated show. I think that show is the culmination of the direction that DC as a whole has been taking. Dark, vulgar, cynical & violent.
2) It marked the start of their animated content going darker & more violent. Every movie after that either pushed that PG-13 rating to it's limit or they just made R rated. I HATED the new direction.⬇️
