This is Axikor!

He is a wyvern from a jungle habitat, and loves fresh water and climbing trees. Has a soft spot for sweet things, and enjoys the company of birds! 🐦

He's very much a representation of my inner self, and has helped me process so much over the years.

Day 20 - Four Petal Pawpaw

This member of the custard apple family is restricted to just two counties in Florida, and is endangered due to habitat loss. It is a long lived species, has edible fruits, and grows in coastal pine scrub habitats.

Drop everything and Google willow ptarmigan call. It is the goofiest thing you will hear all day!
Thanks to climate change, AK's state bird is projected to lose 46% of its current habitat (w/ 3 deg C warming)😔
