I am so glad to have found a series with depth to the world it's set in, right from the first chapters you feel very inmersed into the setting and you can tell a lot of thought was put in the sceneries, species, cultures, etc.

I don't feel like there's a big intention on having a big cultural elements on the "vanilla"design of characters like a Overwatch/League for example.

They just feels like Regular sci fi Soldier to me overall. Nicely done,
