i do it in pieces like this. then i clean it up, and then if it looks a bit off i make another layer and draw over the lines again to make it nicer and cleaner

Fascinating to know I’ve been working on digital art for over a year and still prefer to sketch traditionally. (Both sketches were done traditionally and colored+shaded digitally. Tho you can see I learned how to make it much cleaner in the second)
