this thread is funny and lighthearted but the comic veers often into not so happy territory. the description of someone's mind getting Probed is masterfully done every single time with 's incredible usage of color and symbolism that i can't capture in a shitty crop

The ones for William, Albert, and Sherlock are neat, and William's is definitely the most appropo of the bunch (and seen during the S1 OP)... but Albert's and Sherlock's don't quite have the same symbolism going on - they're just pretty.

ALIENS 35th anniversary Artbook is officially released! It features lots of talented artists and me. My artwork was produced over a year ago and in many ways set off my obsession with the connections between the heroes journey, archetypes, tarot symbolism and Pamela Coleman Smith

“Good artists borrow, great artists steal.” here is a beautiful case of using symbolism in digital art inspired by Renaissance altarpiece panel Saint Lucy by Francesco del Cossa, 1473.

Couldn't find a lot of Gustav-Adolf Mossa (1883-1971) here, so I'm posting some. He was a French illustrator, playwright, essayist, curator, and late Symbolist painter.
