Responding to @Twiins_iink's Youtube video on RWBY redesigns, i've decided to redraw Weiss 🤍 i tried to keep the integrity of her original S1 design while giving her a more mature and refined look and putting some beautiful blue-periwinkle in there! Might do Blake too 🖤 #art

@Shockdingo If they want to go for a more cartoony, even cel shaded look, then the perfect reference is Bengus' art circa X-men vs Street Fighter. You don't need any more colors or fine details than this. You absolutely need these incredibly subtle, refined shapes though!

it's not crazy refined, but #DEEMOII心理テスト came out today and i played it for a few hours and IM AM IN LOVE~
it's a wonderful mix of the first game, with new mechanics and 3D exploration.
I liked both versions so you get both :)

Finally I have art of him that doesn’t feel oddly awkward. It’s funny that his design hasn’t made a ton of changes over time, but it’s been one of the hardest to refine.

But have you seen these gorgeous new screenshots yet? There's much more detail and refinery, and the characters aren't chibi anymore which separates it from looking like Stardew Valley. Just praise all around✨

@Chonzo4Art I listen to music primarily. Pick 2 colors, afterwards I make a random picrew or collect references and design what I visualized. Refine the design with ideas I like etc etc. This mf has gone through several design changes but his core ideas stay the same
