I’m calling it now, MAPPA is gonna do a faithful adaptation of Tokyo Ghoul sometime down the line. Even if it’s years from now, perhaps maybe even a Berserk one too...? I just hope the animators are alright, because god damn they are constantly pumping out high quality shows.
Everyone complaining about #MAPPA doing the upcoming Chainsaw Man but let's not forget MAPPA also gave us bangers like Terror in Resonance, Rage of Bahamut: Genesis, Garo: Vanishing Line, and Altair: A Battle of Records. We should be worried about the animators being overworked.
These headlight-inspired little cyclopses got a whole bunch of potential props & costume bits, and wound up scattered throughout the space station levels!
One of the animators had them sip horribly coffee through their eyelids/lips and it is... my favorite thing.
