Personally I start with a wider hour glass shape and then make the chest basically boobs but more square-ish. I also make sure to make the shoulders very wide. But I’m still learning it myself and my artstyle is more cartoony so do what works best. Just use references.

(i messed up sorry). Thanks for the thread. This years progress was amazing. I think I've finally found my rhythm and i can better manipulate it. I've also made huge leaps in understanding how to use references and anatomy. I'm super proud of how far i've come this year.
