Not sure what you mean, but I´ll answer anyway. A character becomes a character when he/she/it gains some sort of independence from the author, when the author is able to grant it a proper voice, when it stops being a tool.

FGO next year is definitely gonna be hard on the quartz, but I'm really looking forward to it. Also haven't rendered anything in a while so this'll be sort of a test post to see if It's something I'll start doing more of in the future.
