I tried some anisotropic highlights and textured shadows for the hair based on curves. The detail looks cool, but is a little hard to control and maybe too overdetailed for what I want to achieve.

Tried using the brush I sketch with as line art and it looks really cute! I still prefer my textured ink brush but I may use this once in a while. :)
