also art too cause I Get Up To That As Well. 2010-2022. my technical skill has grown but i miss the character my old school drawings had 😔
FWIW, I've been drawing for much longer than that but started taking my art "seriously" about 2010. Baby Morgan would be so proud, I think. 😂
10 years of practice, patience, tears, and being too stubborn to give up. You can do it too.

had my ups and downs as an artist, hell ive had so many art slumps in the past few years. but ive worked terribly hard for this. its not something i just woke up with
My character Ashira I drew back in 2010 vs 2022 in my painterly and regular style. I was never talented, I just put in the hard work! #humanartist #SkillNotTalent #improvement
As cliche as it sounds, the most important things is to draw what you love. Those 4 drawings were shitty BUT I learnt and progressed SO much when I was enjoying 5D's in 2010-12, and now it's the same with One Piece. This amazing feeling of wanting to draw 24/7
#SkillNotTalent 2010 - 2022
talent is a myth and sucking at something is the first step to being good at something. the old piece physically makes me cringe for so many reasons 😵💫

And I won't stop practicing! 😤

2010 - 2022
My 1st attempt to do painterly.
I don't even know what I was doing with my life then... Too much Street Fighter, I guess.

as a kid i was praised for being good at art, but just a couple of years without drawing (2010-2012) set me back so far. you gotta stick with it

Mari has come a long way and so as my art but not without a lot, and I mean A LOT of crappy sketches, unfinished WIPs, redrawing the same arm 30 times, and more. 💖
Take your time and enjoy the process. There's still so many things I want to get better at and I'm nowhere near where I want to be but that's why I love it! You'll never know what you're capable of if you never try in the first place.
