'Annihilation' by Jeff Vandermeer

A portion of the world is sequestered by unknown means: Area X. An expedition is sent out to explore. Biological anomalies & mysteries abound. First of 3 (soon 4) books; I recommend just reading the first as it is short, thrilling, & damn smart.

I did it! I don't have a model to reveal, so I thought I would reveal lore. Any lore revealed will be added to the about section of my brand new carrd! Its a work in progress too. You are welcome to ask questions about Ember and his world! I will work through the list.

Catch me drawing lore-based art of characters, but not writing down that lore.

Loch Iorsa on the Isle of Arran has it's very own monster myth.
The loch's name means 'loch of the serpents'. This serpent is perhaps a wurm: a dragon with no legs nor wings from folklore.

The Stoorwyrm was a giant sea serpent in Orcadian folklore. In legend it was slain by Assipattle, a young farm boy who, when swallowed by it, plunged burning peat into its liver. It’s death throws turned the sky black and caused great earthquakes.

Oh gosh where do I even start. My primary focus is Steve and Pals right now cuz the art is more simple, but I love world building and have been slowly chipping away at my lore. It’s called Lorhondel! So far, the Jedoa and Veias are the most complete. (1/?)

I should really start posting more about my demon lore...

For now... this is Hazél! The original demon of my universe! The original kiiing!
(Compared to the actual king, he's a lot older --->)

I don't know what happened.

One minute I'm looking at mushroom photos, and suddenly I'm on downward spiral of mushroom history and related lore. I lost all control.

Juro que solo me queda la ropa....pero estoy súper indecisa. Creo que ya tengo lo que quiero ponerle, añadiendo algún detalle de su lore.

Today's update breaks down the Pocket Journals in our Set. These are super useful for anyone wanting to record their own lore. Plus we spotlight and two artists working with us!
