I think the reason this design is so fantastic is it's character design boiled down to its bare essentials. She's two shapes and a big sword with zero elaborate details, which makes her infinitely drawable but also retains an insane amount of personality

SO MUCH lol, it’s kinda cringe looking back at it. But proportions are way better, details, coloring and I definitely have my own ‘style’ of drawing now.

Btw, these are two characters from 2017 vs 2022 but look like 4 different characters 😅

Quick li'l Sammy I did. :D
I went a bit crazy on the details, so it took a bit longer than I would have liked lol.

i am working on the keychain drawing on the background, meanwhile, ill try to improve and get more time into little details, like this fucking eye which for whatever reason took 10 min to make!

Mechanically, yes.
Proportionally, kinda.
Visually and looking into the finer details, fuck no.

I actually fucked up a bit of the shading here and forgot some details, so I rectified that here!

I am distraught by the lack of several key elements of gilded age fashion: self-fabric trim, an abundance of pleats, LAYERS of details, BUSTLES, and frankly some eye-watering color combinations.

Goals that I did for a couple a while ago.
Genshin Impact characters have a very complex design with A LOT of details, really fun to draw

Just transferred this CvstomCvnt NFT to its rightful owner, or Lost & Found as she's known on the trails! 💋💦

AM asked for a hiker cvnt w/orange backpack, her signature dual-tone pigtails, enjoying mushies 😎🏔🍄

If you ask me, has outdone himself 👏

Here is my lady Sayako drawn by multiple artists (and one single model ref I worked on)
As for details, I guess any kind of design as long as it includes ye olde classic booba!
-I'm bad at ideas lol
