Saw a youtube video about about painting using values with a colour filter, then removing the filter afterwards to see the result, So I thought I'd give it a go! Pretty proud of how pretty this turned out!
This drawing is still a work in progress but i am learning soooo much while doing it. I also turned it to greyscale so i can focus on the values better! :)

@gimme_ur_d0llar OHH a gradient map is like an adjustment layer that you can put over your drawings and it will put a filter based on the corresponding values on it, if that makes sense? you can see the effects more clearly on drawings with a wide range of light and dark values

Maybe it's just me, but i feel like the Vhs filter doesn't quite work as good for this kind of coloring, kinda messes with the values and the blending, is it just me?

Moar points = more data, I only have a few depth values outside of Pacifica Archipelago which is why you get this pattern but this looks like it's going to work really well for the the Globe.
