One of the best parts of art making is the exploration. Just like Cristopher Columbus or Leif Erikson artists get to set out to unknown areas. As an artist, I can head off to parts unknown, taking as much gear or as little gear as desired.

@TanukiMaria it can be used for non-destructive editing (like deleting things on a layer in a way that is easy to undo), but I like to use them to delineate coloring areas so I don't have to worry about them, like this
