i gotta read the idw comics purely for the sonadow like this is EXQUISITE
@Zhane_Star Times like these when I miss Archie (the Ian Flynn era at least) they were rife with villains
At least IDW is steadily building up its lineup of separate antagonists too
@Sonic_Hedgeblog Hiya! Here are some of my WIP works and two of my finished matching icons of OCs! Im still very new to drawing Sonic anatomy but I've been mostly using the IDW and other small skits for references!
Also very new to the Sonic Artist community ;w;
Usually when i'm trying to draw a new Sonic character- since i'm still trying to get used to a lot of their anatomy again after not drawing them for so long- i'll usually take strips or icons from the IDW comic and re-draw them in my style.
Or use them for references.
Caught up on IDW because I was a few months behind
Really liked Surge and I thought she looks nice with her hair down,,
Also trying some new shading things

@TigheSammy If SEGA can get rid of the old Classic Metal Sonic design can give him a proper upgrade and give him more of a developed character like in the IDW comics and Sonic Heroes than perhaps I'd like him a Hell of a lot more. I would love to see him be designed like this in newer games.
The latest IDW sonic issue inspired me to draw Belle again with her father. This girl deserves just some happiness in her life after all of that.

Well, at least people are still drawing her. Even if MLP:FIM ended in 2019 (have no idea if the IDW comic is still ongoing or not...).
So that's a plus at least.
@lenasabrewing my scrimblos
(surge, kit and starline are fantastic as well. the idw villains go hard)
In case anyone was wondering what the worst Zilla design is, check out idw comics godzilla: oblivion
hey so nobody was gonna tell me that the idw sonic comics do a zombie apocalypse played 100% straight and it's emotionally devastating huh
bro they should sell Sonic IDW comic covers as posters. like that would be a great idea.
Finally reading the IDW comics and they really drew her things thinging over here
Hehehehe— imma do more idw edits~!!
The panels down below are the ones I plan on editing 👀🌺🌺✨💗💖💖✨

@RidleyKraid187 @TigheSammy IDW gave her a winter trenchcoat she rocked beautifully, and I've seen a few designs (And even made my own, that last one, shameless plug) that have their own takes on a trenchcoat Rouge.
