Haven't colored in a while. Trying out some new color ideas with these two goofballs along with experimenting with the new logo design and colors. Everything is very crude, rough, and just basically thrown together.
A lot more practicing, experimenting, and tweaking is needed.

Confident weight painting. I've yet to find a 'dull' part of 3D-ing. Gyarados needs a fair big of tweaking and then a decent bit of retopo, to be 'game ready'. Oh yeah and a handpainted texture...

Designing characters while taking genetics into account is a fun exercise.

Assymetry is the spice of life. We noticed on some test poses that we needed to be mindful of breaking up our planes and adding irregularity to give Volley a little more life. A little tweaking goes a long way.

Happy with this one! The pose was the trickiest part of this piece. A lot of tweaking, but I really liked how it turned out. Same goes for the face where I modified how I drew the snout a couple of times.
