I do the same, I try to skim down my dialogue lol Although I am guilty of making my protagonist think in her mind a lot lol Here is speechless blocks I'm currently working on.
Also your Isis and Rahab look great! conveys a lot of emotion~

I've sketched out different parts of the story over several years in a bunch of sketchbooks. There was no real order, just drawing panels/scenes. Then I scan/crop panels and arrange them in the best order for dialogue. Then I work on line art -> color -> water color objects/bgs.

Gave my shot at redrawing one of my favorite billyteddy moments from Lords of Empyre: Emperor Hulkling originally written by Anthony Oliveira and Chip Zdarsky. Some of the dialogue from their work was placed into this. Pretty happy with the outcome, first shot at an actual comic.
