Aside from the SF4 dip, it's always been trending closer to 1:1.
So when I first came up with the idea for the "art Surprise", I initially only asked two mods for help; this is how the conversation went with @/ProSneasel (not @-ing cause I'm a coward) went... (not what was actually said, but it's the idea)
@Silent0264 I've done the same thing!! It's really impressive what you can do with this method. You can just slightly stylize your screenshot, or even iterate on a character design.

2017-2022, Timber's Revival. I was inspired by a friend to revamp my characters, completely cut off from the Sonic franchise. I realize now his initial redesign wasn't very good as he still looked too human. Took a lot of tweaking, but I'm pretty happy with his current design.
