You paint with oil and that's why you like it, you are much more sensitive to color nuances. Usually people love something bright and pure (like this👇), but traditional artists prefer complex, slightly muddy colors❤❤❤

It's about how the art was finished. The layout artist was Richard Marcej who also did the layouts for these images, among many others. His basic layouts were usually finished/painted by Japanese artists.
