Finished COTE Volume 7. This was one of the biggest volumes in the series so far as we end the second act of year 1, We get A LOT about Kiyotaka's past as well as the conclusion of the story involving Ryuen's rule as leader of Class C. Last volume's afterwards section said that

HOLY SHIT, this series has been so consistently great. Fully loved reading this volume, from the formation of the study group to the strategies that went into the special exam. Very excited for the next one.

COTE volume 5✅

An engaging read right from the start, only getting better each chapter. I really enjoyed the characters of Horikita, Sudou, Ryuuen and Ayanokouji here and the way it ends just makes me want to pick up the next volume right away. Def the best one so far.

COTE volume 4.5✅

Was expecting sort of a filler volume but it was actually pretty damn good. The short stories were really fun, alot of great character interactions and some interesting set up for the future plot as well.

My 3x3 fave characters from COTE.

Manabu last appeared few vols ago but he remains one of the best. Ichika’s best scenes were with Kushida/Kei. Hirata is underrated. Hiyori is like Ichinose less the doormat. Arisu’s peak was v11. Ryuuen is still the best antagonist
