Fall of Cybertron goes so friggin hard I can't even begin to properly describe it. This game was a huge part of the Transformers landscape when I first got into the franchise and has totally solidified itself as one of my favorite pieces of Transformers Media. Absolute BANGER.

the 2nd run of IDW's Transformers ends pretty interestingly

the Autobots all leave Cybertron to fight another day, which leaves Megatron in control (albeit it being a pyrrhic victory for him)

which makes this one of the few TF stories that ends with the Decepticons winning

Built by hand, he was designed to be the ultimate guard for Cybertron. Obsidian has a complicated history with both sides of the conflict, with him siding among the Decepticons as one of their Elite Generals. Only recently has he renounced his title.
