Metroid is really at its best when it has that sense of .... dread.......

okay that wasn't on purpose, but the horror moods like in Metroid Fusion are what stand out in my mind most prominently. I'm happy that they're continuing that in Dread.

Ballet of the Wild, set pre-calamity with lots of grandeur and an impending sense of dread. Act I is castle life, researching, and spiritual training. Act II is bonding, lots of pas de deux, and the start of the calamity. Every champion gets a solo of course!
