offering stars era as my obligatory valentines drawing that i’ll be late for
@Ultimasaurus20 It's a panel from the manga created to sponsoring Metroid during the NES Era. At the time nobody knew that Samus is actually a woman.
OH..UH….it was a (horrible) era……………
((I KEEP FORGETTING TO CHANGE THE PFP LMAO ITS BEEN 2 YEARS😭)) https://t.co/rayD6edlJs
wait I forgot yall never got to see the buff/shirtless kroi sona era before #99kroiocs https://t.co/VKgPTaY4ex
By the way, if you use regular airbrush, stronger line art and brighter color palette, you'll get the soul hackers 1 era instead
Or the maken x/p2 era if your colors are darker
Interestingly enough, RK2/ SJ era have more softer color choice than RK1/nocturne era
at this point, you might want to process the line art a bit.
Idk what tool Kaneko used for the lineart in this era, but it's super textured and "fades" when you put low pressure, like a real pencil.
Interestingly enough, his modern art style would ditch the textured pen(?)
how I do the kaneko-shiraishi style coloring (especially their raidou era art style)
1. Prepare line art with rough textured pen. I used a pencil tool
2. Color in base. Idk I think Kaneko often starts from dark->light, but I too used with light->dark coloring.
