Exploring the limitations of art, this is the first piece of art where we mixed physical illustration with photoshopped Ai backgrounds
8.1. What limitations do they have today?
Something already famous is the problem they have with hands: they are horrible 😂. They are also not good with texts/fonts.
And in general, they have a lot of small flaws that many like to point out.
Suddenly found myself working on a new model, this time with an emphasis in optimization. Not exactly low-poly, but should hopefully be enough to satisfy the stringent limitations of the Quest out of the box. I feel like I'm *really* starting to get this down to a science.
Finished my 1st artwork for 2023! My #PokemonViolet trainer and my top 3 favorite #Pokemon, including Cinccino and a skirt for my trainer's uniform cause silly game limitations don't apply in art!

No CRT effect version and the assets for the shot.
SNES limitations are over my head, but I used the SMILE Super Metroid editor to check pallete limitations per sprite/map tile etc.
The tileset could be WAY bigger and with more colours, this is for one screen

First illustration of the year is the best rival in a decade, Nemona. Normally I stick my style and I’m awful at imitation but I did my best to emulate Gen 1 Sugimori here, digital watercolors are not my forte but it was fun trying it out! #pokemon #nemona #scarletandviolet
To keep Ava's bouncy style, it was necessary. When a pose is needed that's beyond the limitations of the rig, I can swap any part of the rig to hand-drawn animation. It's like solving a huge puzzle, and I enjoy that.
