The Jurassic. Hurled from the flames of the previous age. A world of fire, housing creatures so big that every step they take shakes the very ground they walk on. Lush greens and warm air make it a greenhouse of terror, with the sound of hunting reptiles never far behind.

Gigantspinosaurus in its "Accurate" version

The truth is that the design pleases me with that giant beak, but again frontier is VERY generic with its herbivore designs.

Synapsids of Jurassic Park

It was great to see them finally introduced to the franchise, albeit very late - even if the Smilodon was done terribly dirty. Personally, I think they should've been there since the original. They should've never limited themselves to just dinosaurs.

My favourite film franchise is Jurassic Park, by a long way.

Watched it in 93 and wouldn't go into the kitchen alone for 6 months my parents tell me lol.

I've been a dinosaur fan ever since!

I once worked in scuba diving, helping in an underwater dig even.

So, nearly everyone loves the Jurassic World website Baryonyx, but I don’t really see that much love for the other designs (the para and pachy in perticulary). I really like them, and I think this is the aesthetic the new films should have had.

Featuring a unique shape with a larger head then most dinosaurs at this scale, the Piatnitzkysaurus is certainly a unique new addition to our roster of Jurassic World dinosaurs.

Okay, Announcement Time! Starting next week, I’m going to begin working on two new art projects.

First, following the success of “The Dying Time”, I’ll be doing a follow-up series covering the Triassic-Jurassic extinction. I’ll be calling it “Volcanic Dawn”. (1/3)

Cover reveal: MONSTER ISLAND
Doug Holgate has done a fab job with this awesome cover. I am monstrously excited by it.
I also love the tag line...
