Apparently the English dub just ends on this episode.
It ends on the most bleak thing you could imagine with (almost) everyone being back except Judai himself.
That's both hilarious and depressing.
Rainbow Neo's debut is terrific. Freeing Johan from Yubel and purging the darkness from Rainbow Dragon all in one blow.
Atta boy, Judai.
>Torturing the Gem Beasts after they help Judai by making them intentionally take damage
:') Yubel please stop being you. (Also: Wow those are some very, very Hara expressions there... Wonder if he did those shots? )
Eye love you #yubel #yugiohgx #judaiyuki #arttwt #artistontwitter
Lord.
One hell of a self sacrifice there ;_;
At this point the last survivors outside of Judai are Sho, Ryo, Edo, and Ojama Yellow I suppose...
The more I think about it, the more I realize that the entire Supreme King persona is actually a surprisingly sturdy analogy for depression in Judai's case: Burying you in very thick layers of pain that you sometimes just can't get through.
Sho turning into an Obi-Wan type figure, just watching from afar until Anaki- er, Judai comes to his sense is not the direction I would've anticipated for the Short King to take in his hermitage, but it's a very dramatic and fittingly saddening sign of growth for him right now.
The Supreme King is here after killing an entire village (and countless duelists, including children apparently) to perfect some Card of Death.
...Judai it's been a fucking day :') Oh lord....
(And that's caught up from last week. More tomorrow, I've got shit to do :V )
Johan is absolutely the kind of guy who would help Judai microwave soap in the cafeteria and next time offer to put forks in it because they make cool lights in there.
Even better:
Sho starts doing his bits of the next episode previews in-character as a Duel Zombie taunting Judai.
